tries out the wheel chair we have donated
Earlier this year Scott Richardson of the John Grooms Project asked our
Community Service Committee if they could help the Project purchase a new
wheel chair for training their disabled volunteers, and for when they needed
an extra one. Our Committee felt this would be a good use of the Club’s
money we were delegated to see what deal we could do with Anglia Mobility. A
very smart multi-purpose wheel chair was delivered in late September 2007
and pressed straight into use, helping to take a party from John Grooms to
the Cadbury’s World in Birmingham
