Peter Gutteridge -  spoke to us on 126th October 2007 about Trafalgar

 

Peter talked about Bedfordshire men who were involved in the battle of Trafalgar and the Royal Navy generally.Image:John Byng.jpg

The most famous was John Byng (October 29th 1704 March 14th 1757) who was a British admiral court-martialled and executed for failing to "do his utmost" during the Battle of Minorca, at the beginning of the Seven Years' War.
