Justin Llewellyn  talked to our Ladies Evening on Thursday 28th February 2008

We met in the Harpur Suite in the Town Centre and on the left can be seen our President Anthony with Sheila in the foreground and our speaker Justin with his wife, taken just before an excellent dinner enjoyed by all. This was followed by the presentation of two surprise Paul Harris Fellowships.  Firstly to Thelma Marks for her services to Bedford. Colmworth, Inner Wheel and our Rotary Club. The second presentation was to Rtn Peter Walden for his services to Charity and to Rotary - both well deserved. 

Justin gave us a most interesting talk about his father's life, who played Q in most of the Bond films, and his own early life of meeting so many film stars. Justin had played and still plays bit parts in Bond films.  He has an in Tatinger Champagne and has arranged for our Club to have a tour (and hopefully some samples when we go to Rheims in May

The previous Friday we cancelled our Lunch to attend the Rotary Club of Bedford Castle Celebrity Lunch with William Roach, who apparently plays Ken Barlow in Coronation Street, telling us about his life in the Army and acting
