Rtn Tom Wells talks to our Club about the merger of his company and Youngs Brewery

Rtn Tom Wells, Founder President of the Rotary Club of Bedford Park, talked to us about how Wells Brewery and Youngs Brewery of London came to merge their operation at Bedford.  Our own Rtn Mervyn seems to get in on most of the pictures. The discussions on merger were a well kept secret until the announcement earlier this year and many benefits have come already from the merger in terms of updating plant and procedures and increasing profitability. It is expected that the combined strength of the two companies will lead to a much stronger and even more profitable enterprise.
