Alison, the daughter of the late Rtn Michael R Peters spoke to our Club about her father and his love for his family and Rotary. It was a very moving  talk. She spoke particularly of Michael; involvement in raising £66,000.00 in 2005 for Shelter Boxes to be sent to the earthquake area of Pakistan. She also proposed a toast to the many Paul Harris Fellows of our Club, which was well received.  Alison showed that she has inherited the confidence and eloquence of her father.

Every Paul Harris Fellow from outside the Club was hosted by a Rotarian and it was  a great pleasure to see so many Rotarians and non Rotarian Paul Harris Fellows with us as we entertained also Michael's wife, Mary and Alison's husband and their daughter
